Zinnia Class Lighthouse Tender:

  • Built in 1939 by John H. Mathis Company, Camden, New Jersey
  • Launched 29 April 1939
  • Commissioned USCGC Narcissus in 1939
  • Designated WAGL-238 in 1942
  • Reclassified as WLI-238 in 1966
  • Decommissioned 11 March 1971, sold to Guyana and renamed Maripa
  • Fate unknown.

  • Displacement 355 t.
  • Length 122' 2"
  • Beam 27'
  • Draft 7'
  • Speed 9 kts.
  • Complement 43
  • Armament: One 3"/50 mount, two 20mm mounts and two depth charge tracks (World War II), none in peace time
  • Propulsion: Two 215 bhp Superior diesel engines, two shafts.
