  • Built in 1897 as Maylands by Furness Withy and Co., Ltd., West Hartlepool, Great Britain for the Maylands Steamship Co., Ltd., (J. F. Wilson and Co.) of West Hartepool
  • Launched 20 March 1897
  • Completed in April 1897
  • Acquired by to Gebr. van Uden, Rotterdam, The Netherlands in 1905 and renamed Veerhaven
  • Acquired by A/S D/S Djursland (A. Jensen) of Copenhagen, Denmark in 1915 and renamed Djurland
  • Acquired by the American Transatlantic Co. of New York later in 1915 and renamed Maumee
  • Acquired by the Navy 9 January 1918 and commissioned USS Maumee (ID 1339) the same day
  • Decommissioned in April 1919 and returned to her owner
  • Acquired by A/S D/S H. Jensen of Copenhagen in 1923 and renamed Dorte Jensen
  • Scrapped at Genoa, Italy 22 January 1924.

  • Draft 19' 2"
  • Speed 9.5 kts.
  • Complement 25 (1919)
