Terrier (SP 960)


Motorboat:

  • The second Terrier was built in 1917 by the Great Lakes Boat Building Corp., Milwaukee, WI
  • Commissioned 1 June 1917 before being acquired by the Navy on 9 July 1917
  • Struck from the Navy list and returned to her owner 10 March 1919
  • Fate unknown.

    Specifications:

  • Displacement 10 t.
  • Length 40'
  • Beam 9'
  • Draft 4' 9½"
  • Speed 19 kts.
  • Complement: Nine
  • Armament: One 1-pounder and one machine gun
  • Propulsion: One 160hp 6-cylinder Van Blerck gasoline engine, one shaft.
