Motorboat:

  • Built in 1912 by the Bosserdet Yacht and Engine Co., Detroit, MI for August P. Kling of Detroit
  • Acquired by the Navy 26 April 1917 and commissioned Josephine H. II (SP 245) the same day
  • Renamed SP-245 in 1918
  • Decommissioned 29 November 1918
  • Struck from the Navy Register and 11 March 1919 and returned to her owner
  • Fate unknown.

    Specifications:

  • Displacement 36 t.
  • Length 65'
  • Beam 12' 6"
  • Draft 4' 10"
  • Speed 10 kts.
  • Propulsion: One 60/83hp 6-cylinder Buffalo gasoline engine, one shaft.
