Motorboat:

  • Built in 1916 by the A. E. Luders Construction Co., Stamford, CT
  • Acquired by the Navy 27 June 1917
  • Commissioned 8 August 1917
  • Destroyed in a hurricane 9 September 1919 at Key West, FL
  • Struck from the Navy list 4 October 1919.

    Specifications:

  • Length 44'
  • Beam 8' 6"
  • Draft 2' 10"
  • Speed 21 kts.
  • Armament: One .30 cal. machine gun
  • Propulsion: One 100hp 6-cylinder Van Blerck gasoline engine, one shaft.
