SC-1469 served the Navies of the United States and Mexico.

SC-1466 Class (Canadian Fairmile Class) Submarine Chaser:

  • Laid down 30 November 1941 as HMC ML-395 by the Leblanc Shipbuilding Co., Weymouth, Nova Scotia, Canada
  • Launched 12 August 1942
  • Reclassified as a Submarine Chaser and commissioned USS PC-1469, 22 October 1942 at Weymouth, Nova Scotia
  • Reclassified SC-1469 in April 1943
  • Transferred to Mexico 20 November 1943
  • Returned to U.S. custody in January 1948 and transferred to the War Shipping Administration for disposal
  • Fate unknown.

    Specifications:

  • Displacement 76 t.
  • Length 112'
  • Beam 18'
  • Draft 6'
  • Speed 15 kts.
  • Complement 28
  • Armament: Two 2-pounders, two .30 cal. machine guns, one depth charge projectile (Y-gun), and two depth charge tracks
  • Propulsion: Two 630hp Hall-Scott gasoline engines, two shafts.
