  • Laid down 16 December 1941 by American Cruiser Inc., Trenton, MI
  • Launched 29 June 1942
  • Delivered 7 October 1942 and commissioned USS PC-659
  • Reclassified SC-659 in April 1943
  • Transferred to the Coast Guard 19 October 1945
  • Commissioned USCGC Air Gannett (WAVR 423), 5 December 1945
  • Struck from the Naval Register 3 January 1946
  • Sold 26 September 1947
  • Burned in Krabs Lake, Pascagoula, MS in 1963.
