SC-1 Class Submarine Chaser:

  • Laid down at the Norfolk Navy Yard, Portsmouth, VA
  • Commissioned 2 February 1918
  • Sunk in a collision 5 June 1918 with the protected cruiser Tacoma (C 18), off Barnegat Light, New Jersey. There were no casualties.
