SC-497 Class Submarine Chaser/PGM-1 Class Motor Gunboat:

  • Laid down 7 September 1942 as PC-1035 by the Peterson Boat Works, Sturgeon Bay, WI
  • Reclassified SC-1035 and launched 12 April 1943
  • Commissioned USS SC-1035, 17 May 1943
  • Reclassified as a Motor Gunboat, PGM-3, 10 December 1943
  • Decommissioned 12 January 1946 at Subic Bay, Philippines
  • Struck from the Naval Register 25 February 1946
  • Transferred to the State Department, Foreign Liquidation Commission 6 May 1947
  • Transferred to the Republic of China 20 May 1947
  • Fate unknown.
