PG-106 served only in the Royal Navy.

British River Class Frigate/Patrol Gunboat:

  • Laid down 25 August 1942 for the U.S. Navy as PG-106 at Canadian Vickers Ltd., Montreal, Canada
  • Assigned to the Royal Navy under the Lend-Lease Program
  • Launched 5 December 1942
  • Transferred to the Royal Navy 25 June 1943 and commissioned HMS Findhorn (K 301)
  • Returned to U.S. Navy custody 20 March 1946
  • Struck from the Naval Register 8 May 1946
  • Transferred to the War Shipping Administration in March 1947
  • Fate unknown.

  • Armament: Two 4"/40 mounts, ten 20mm guns, two depth charge tracks, and one hedgehog depth charge projector
