  • The first Medrick was originally planned as PC-1464 but reclassified PCS-1464 in April 1943
  • Laid down 22 May 1943 at Astoria Marine Construction Co., Astoria, Oregon
  • Launched 11 October 1943
  • Commissioned USS PCS-1464, 8 January 1944 at Seattle, WA
  • Named Medrick and reclassified as a Coastal Minesweeper, AMc-203, 10 January 1945
  • Decommissioned 9 July 1946
  • Struck from the Naval Register 28 August 1946
  • Delivered to the Maritime Commission 10 December 1947 for disposal
  • Fate unknown.

  • Propulsion: Two 800bhp General Motors 8-268A diesel engines, Snow and Knobstedt single reduction gear, two shafts.
