PCS-1376 Class Patrol Craft Sweeper:

  • Laid down 27 February 1943 as PC-1389 by the Robert Jacob Shipyard, City Island, Bronx, NY
  • Reclassified PCS-1389 in April 1943
  • Launched 18 September 1943
  • Commissioned USS PCS-1389, 10 January 1944
  • Reclassified as a Control Submarine Chaser, PCSC-1389 20 August 1945
  • Decommissioned at Mare Island, CA
  • Struck from the Naval Register 3 January 1946
  • Transferred to the War Shipping Administration in April 1948
  • Fate unknown.
