PCS-1376 Class Patrol Craft Sweeper:

  • Planned as PC-1386, but reclassified PCS-1386 in April 1943
  • Laid down 15 May 1943 at Wheeler Shipbuilding Corp., Whitestone, Long Island, NY
  • Launched 28 September 1944
  • Commissioned USS PCS-1386, 4 November 1944
  • Operated as a Naval Reserve Training Vessel at Baltimore, MD after World War II
  • Named Hampton, 15 February 1956
  • Decommissioned 27 April 1956
  • Struck from the Naval Register 1 July 1959
  • Acquired in 1961 by Mary D. Hansen of Venice Park, Atlantic City, NJ and renamed Chrisway
  • Acquired in 1967 by George S. Harrington of Atlantic City
  • Acquired in 1969 by the Industrial Trawling Corp. of Hampton, VA and renamed Reliant
  • Abandoned in 1969 at Salisbury, MD.
