PCE-842 Class Patrol Escort:

  • Laid down 2 December 1942 by the Albina Engine and Machine Works, Portland, OR
  • Launched 10 March 1943
  • Commissioned USS PCE-871, 29 October 1943
  • Decommissioned 24 November 1947, transferred to the State Department, Foreign Liquidation Commission, sold to Mexico and named ARM Blas Godinez C 02)
  • Reclassified PO-132
  • Broken up in 1965.

  • Propulsion: Two 900bhp General Motors 12-567A diesel engines, Falk single reduction gear, two shafts.
