  • Laid down 14 September 1942 by the Defoe Shipbuilding Corp., Bay City, MI
  • Launched 19 November 1942
  • Commissioned 31 May 1943
  • Grounded 9 October 1945 by Typhoon Louise at Buckner Bay, Okinawa and found to be beyond economical repair
  • Decommissioned 29 November 1945
  • Struck from the Naval Register 5 December 1945
  • Destroyed in March 1946.

  • Propulsion: Two 1,440bhp General Motors 16-258S diesel engines, Farrel-Birmingham single reduction gear, two shafts.
