YMS-1 Class Auxiliary Motor Minesweeper:

  • Laid down 20 May 1942 at South Coast Co., Newport Beach, CA
  • Launched 6 September 1942
  • Completed and commissioned as USS YMS-260, 9 April 1943
  • Transferred to the Soviet Union 2 August 1945 and reclassified T-527
  • Assigned to the Pacific Fleet 11 September 1945
  • Placed out of service 15 April 1955 and laid up
  • Scrapped 11 July 1956.
