MSC-294 Class Coastal Minesweeper:

  • Laid down as MSC-322 by Peterson Builders Inc., Sturgeon Bay, WI
  • Completed in 1978, transferred to Saudi Arabia and named Addriyah (MSC 412)
  • Believe to have been phased out in 1997
  • Fate unknown.

    Specifications:

  • Displacement 375 t.
  • Length 144'
  • Beam 27'
  • Draft 8' 5"
  • Speed 14 kts.
  • Complement 39
  • Armament: Two 20mm mounts
  • Propulsion: Four 250bhp General Motors 6-71 diesel engines, two shafts.
