MSC-294 Class Coastal Minesweeper:

  • Laid down as MSC-298 by the Tacoma Boat Building Co., Inc., Sturgeon Bay, WI
  • Launched 14 September 1962
  • Completed 9 November 1964, transferred to Greece and named RHMS Doris (M 245)
  • Struck from the Naval Register in 1995
  • Fate unknown.

  • Beam 27'
  • Draft 8' 5"
  • Speed 14 kts.
  • Complement 39
  • Armament: Two 20mm mounts
  • Propulsion: Two General Motors diesel engines, two shafts.
