MSC-292 Class Coastal Minesweeper: Laid down as MSC-292 by Peterson Builders Inc., Sturgeon Bay, WI; Completed 16 May 1962 and transferred to Iran as Karkas (MSC 34). Fate unknown.

Specifications: Displacement 320 t.; Length 144'; Beam 28'; Draft 9'; Speed 13 kts; Complement 50; Armament two .50 cal. machine guns and one 81mm mortar; Propulsion General Motors diesel engines, two shafts.
