The first Agile was built in 1941 by the Petersen Shipbuilding Co., Tacoma, WA
Aquired by the Navy 10 April 1941 while still under construction
Delivered 26 November 1941
Placed in service as USS Agile (AMc 111), 12 December 1941
Reclassified as an Unclassified Miscellaneous Auxiliary, IX-203, 30 December 1944 and used for transporting aerial torpedoes
Placed out of service 14 December 1945
Struck from the Naval Register 8 January 1946
Transferred to the Maritime Commission for disposal 14 March 1946
Converted back to a fishing boat in 1946 at the Tacoma Boat Building Co., Tacoma for transfer to China under the United Nations Relief and Rehabilitation Administration program
Fate unknown.
