  • Laid down 29 April 1941 by H. G. Marr, Damariscotta, ME
  • Launched 27 September 1941
  • Placed in service as USS Security (AMc 103),11 March 1942
  • Placed out of service 16 November 1945
  • Struck from the Naval Register 28 November 1945
  • Transferred to the War Shipping Administration 13 August 1946 and sold to Mr. Philip Filetto of Gloucester, MA
  • Sold in 1948 to the Eastern Maine Towing Co., Inc. of Belfast, ME and converted to a tug
  • Renamed Evelyn M. Holmes in 1966
  • Abandoned in May/June 1974.

  • Armament: Two .50 cal. machine guns
