  • Laid down 15 June 1955 as MSO-517 by the Tampa Marine Co., Tampa, FL
  • Launched 21 June 1956 and sponsored by Mrs. M. M. Hamilton
  • Completed 22 February 1957
  • Transferred to Italy 12 March 1957 and named Sgombro (M 5432)
  • Reclassified P-5432 in 1990
  • Decommissioned 3 October 2000
  • Fate unknown.

  • Displacement 750 t.
  • Length 172'
  • Beam 35'
  • Draft 11'
  • Speed 15.5 kts.
  • Armament: One 40mm mount and two .50 cal. machine guns
  • Propulsion: Two 1,600shp General Motors diesel engines, two shafts.
