  • During World War II USS LCS(L)(3)-59 was assigned to the Asiatic Pacific Theater:
    LCS(L)(3) Flotilla One, CAPT. R.E.Arison USNR;
     LCS(L)(3) Group Two, LT. M. C. Fitzgerald, USNR;
     LCS(L)(3) Division Four and participated in the following campaigns:

    Tarakan Island operation, 22 April to 1 May 1945

  • Final Disposition, sold for scrapping, 14 December 1950, to Southwest Steel Co., Memphis TN., for $6,918.51.
