  • Built in 1944 at Wheeler Shipbuilding, Whitestone, N.Y.
  • Delivered to the US Army Quartermaster Corps, 8 September 1944
  • Allocated to the US Army Transportation Corps
  • Commissioned USS FS-266, 8 September 1944, at New York, LTjg. J.D. Legon, USCGR in command
  • During World War II USAV FS-266 was assigned to the Asiatic-Pacific Theater
  • Coast Guard crew was relieved by a civilian crew, 25 November 1945
  • Acquired by the US Navy in September 1947, at Subic Bay, Luzon, Philippine Islands
  • Named Tingles (AG-144), 21 November 1947
  • Placed in service at Subic Bay, 2 December 1947
  • Reclassified Light Cargo Ship, (AKL-13), 31 March 1949
  • Placed out of service, 10 November 1949, and laid up in the Pacific Reserve Fleet, San Francisco Group
  • Transferred under tow to the Stockton Group, Pacific Reserve Fleet, 16 December 1963
  • Struck from the Naval Register, 1 April 1969
  • Transferred in 1969 to the Maritime Administration and subsequently to the US Trust Territory of the Pacific, renamed MV Ran-Annim
  • Final Disposition, scrapped in 1982
