  • Redesignated Net Laying Ship (AN-91) before building started
  • Laid down, 31 May 1944, at Zenith Dredge Co., Duluth, MN.
  • Launched, 15 September 1944
  • Commissioned USS Waxsaw (AN-91), 6 May 1945, LT. Kearny R. Garrison, USNR, in command
  • Decommissioned, 23 March 1960, at Panama City, FL.
  • Struck from the Naval Register, 23 March 1960
  • Transferred to the Maritime Administration, 27 March 1962, for lay up in the National Defense Reserve Fleet, James River Group, Lee Hall, VA.
  • Removed from the reserve fleet anchorage, 20 June1963, for transfer (loaned) under the Mutual Assistance Program to Venezuela, 1 October 1963, renamed ARBV Puerto Miranda (H-80)
  • Sold outright to Venezuela, 1 December 1977
  • Final Disposition, deleted from the Venezuelan Navy list 1978, fate unknown
