NRPACIFIC FLEET (FHTNC) - Gene P. Nunnally, fire control technician third class, USN, son of Mrs. Earl Brady of 113 Walnut St., and husband of the former Miss Tina Kinsey, both of Port Clinton, Ohio, is congratulated by his Commanding Officer, Navy Lt. Cdr. M. U. Moore, after receiving the Navy Good Conduct Medal while serving aboard the killer submarine Bass (SSK-2) in February. Nunnally jointed the Navy in 1951.
The Chief of Naval Personnel, Washington, D. C., issues the Good Conduct Medal to only those sailors who have demonstrated the highest of achievements in conduct and proficiency in rate throughout continuous three year active duty period.
