  • 6 December 1943: Keel laid by the Brown Shipbuilding Co., Houston, Tex.
  • 19 January 1944: Launched and christened, sponsored by Mrs. Walter C. Wann Sr., mother of Pharmacist's Mate Wann
  • 02 May 1944: Commissioned, Lcdr. John W. Stedman, Jr., USNR, in command
  • 22 May 1946: Decommissioned at San Diego, Cal. after 2 years and 1 month of service having steamed 87,000 miles, she was credited with the destruction of two Japanese aircraft
  • 11 July 1946: Inactivation completed at San Diego, Cal., assigned to Submarine Group Two, San Diego Group, Pacific Reserve Fleet
  • 30 June 1968: Struck from the NVR
  • June 1969: Sold for scrapping to the National Metal & Steel Co., Terminal Island, Cal.
