| 125k | HMS Charity engaged in Operation Fishnet off North Korea, September 16 1952. HMS Charity (R29) was a Ch-class destroyer of the Royal Navy laid down by John I. Thornycroft and Company of Woolston, Southampton on 9 July 1943. She was launched on 30 November 1944 and commissioned on November 19 1945. She served for Great Britain during the Korean War. She was sold to the United States Navy on June 16 1958 and renamed Shah Jehan (DD-962). She was modernized in England under a US contract and transferred to the Royal Pakistan Navy as part of the Military Aid Program (MAP) on December 16 1958 where she served as Shah Jehan or "Emperor of the World". | US Navy |
