Laid down by Consolidated Steel,Orange Texas. October 10 1944.
Launched March 17 1945 and commissioned July 26 1945.
Completed FRAM upgrade February 1965.
Decommissioned and Stricken February 27 1981.
To South Korea February 27 1981, renamed Kyong Kai.
Fate Decommissioned by Korea 1997, damaged by fire and then scrapped in 1999.
