Adams and four Farragut class guided missile destroyers and the Gearing class destroyer USS William C. Lawe (DD-763, fourth from the right). Kennedy, Jr (DD-850) and the USS Kidd (DD-661) who stripped the USS William C. Lawe (DD-763) and recovered many usable items for restoration and maintenance of their historic ships.
